Medisoft End User Support Notice

CGM MEDISOFT as needed/per incident end user ​support will be provided to customers on version 28 or 29 throughout 2025. Starting in 2026, support will extend to customers on version 29 or 30, following our existing support structure and policies, and alignment with CGM's support policy.
 
CGM/eMDs, the developer of CGM MEDISOFT, supports the current version, and prior version only. The current version of CGMMEDISOT is v30, the prior version is v29. It is recommended you upgrade your CGM MEDISOFT to a supported version. Staying up-to-date is critical to ensuring that your practice complies with government and industry regulations and standards. At the same time, upgrading your software will provide access to many new or improved features which have accumulated year over year. Continuing to use systems that are no longer supported violates HIPAA Security Rule 45 C.F.R. 164.308 (a)(5)(ii). If you are using software that Microsoft or CGM/eMDs no longer supports or is end-of-life, you will not meet the requirements for HIPAA compliance. Furthermore, as industry requirements continue to change, operating systems are updated, or security risks evolve, older versions of CGM MEDISOFT are not updated to comply with these challenges. For all these reasons we strongly encourage you to consider upgrading to the current CGM MEDISOFT version 30 through CompuHealth Northwest.​
